MOOLOOLAH

Completed in June 2026, Mooloolah Drive is a substantial waterfront residence where architecture, interiors and craftsmanship come together on an impressive scale. Designed in collaboration with Taylor’d Distinction, with interiors by Kate Cooper Interiors, the home was conceived to embrace its canal-side position while delivering an unmistakable sense of luxury throughout.

Spanning a basement, ground and upper floor, the residence comprises approximately 1,105m² of total built area, including almost 897m² of living and garage space, along with expansive terraces, patio and an large upper balcony. The original dwelling and pool were demolished to make way for the new two-storey residence and basement.

Five bedrooms and five bathrooms are complemented by dedicated media and library spaces, creating a home that balances grand-scale entertaining with quieter, more intimate spaces. Outdoors, the architecture extends towards the water through generous terraces, a new swimming pool and a new rear deck overlooking the canal, strengthening the connection between the home and its waterfront setting. The plans reinforce this relationship, positioning the pool, terraces and upper-level balcony along the canal side of the residence.

Materiality plays an equally important role in the home’s character. Feature  cladding, off-form concrete, render, aluminium detailing and considered architectural forms give the exterior depth and presence, while the interiors introduce a more refined and layered expression. Every element has been carefully resolved, from the large-scale gestures through to the finer painted finishes, craftsmanship that has already seen the home nominated for a painters award.
