Once home to the much-loved Seaview Gallery, the building has long been a familiar part of the local streetscape. Gold Leaf Constructions was engaged to undertake an extensive transformation of the property, revitalising the former gallery space at ground level while completely renovating the two residential storeys above.

The interiors have been reimagined with an emphasis on warmth, texture and timeless materiality. Natural travertine flows throughout the home, complemented by warm bronze detailing, antique brass tapware and rich walnut joinery. Together, these finishes have completely transformed the atmosphere of the residence, creating a home that feels refined and luxurious while retaining a sense of warmth and character.

Externally, the transformation is equally considered. A striking copper-wrapped front door and garage door bring another layer of richness to the façade, creating a distinctive new identity while respecting the building’s place within the Moffat Beach streetscape.

From its beginnings as the iconic Seaview Gallery to its new life as a beautifully detailed home and retail space, Seaview represents the careful reinvention of a local landmark. Built with enduring materials and craftsmanship at its core, this familiar building is ready to begin its next chapter and stand proudly for decades to come.
